Helen Robinson was an instrumental person in bowling in Southern Nevada for over a quarter century.  With the LVWBA, she served as President for 7 years from 1963 - 1970.  She was also Treasurer for 2 years, Sergeant at Arms for 2 years, and was the SNAYABA Representative on the LVWBA Board for 8 years.  Helen also served on all LVWBA committees.  She was honored with an LVWBA Life Membership in 1977.  Helen was also quite active on the board of the Nevada Women's Bowling Association.  She served that board for over 16 years, spending 14 of them as State Secretary.  She was a delegate to the WIBC Convention for 20 years.  Helen also served the youth of Southern Nevada and was President of the SNAYABA for 4 years and Secretary for 3 years.  She was a charter member of the Nevada State YABA and served for 18 years as a director.  She was also a charter member and served on the Southern Nevada 600 Club board  for 18 years and the Nevada State 600 Club board for 12 years.  She was President of the Bowling Council of Nevada for 6 years, was made a Life Member of the NWBA in 1981 and inducted into the NWBA Hall of Fame in 1982.
