Helen Donoghue was a tireless worker for women's bowling in Southern Nevada.  She was a member of the LVWBA Board of Directors for 12 years, serving as 2nd Vice President for 3 years and 1st Vice President for 2 years.  She served on many, if not all, of the LVWBA Committees and spent 9 years as the chairperson of the Banquet committee.  Helen was a LVWBA delegate to the WIBC Convention and also a many time delegate to the NWBA Convention.  She also served on several of the NWBA Committees.  Helen Donoghue was made a Member Emerita of the LVWBA in 1971.
