A resident of Southern Nevada for 34 years, he was a member of the ABC for over 40 years and the SNBA for 25. Ralph was appointed to the SNBA Board of Directors in 1960, and became Vice President in 1962. He was elected President from 1964 to 1966, and by acclamation continued as President until 1969. Along with some other prominent members of the SNBA, he led the fight and won the battle to establish a rotation schedule for the Nevada State Bowling Association Championship Tournament, and finally, recognition of Southern Nevada. Ralph holds two Nevada State records as a member of Duo-Cleaners Team. He was the 1956-1957 SNBA All Events Champion; a member of the Showboat Team finishing second in the 1961 ABC National Tournament in Detroit, MI. He was Orange Bowl Classic Champ in 1957 and Review Journal Champ in 1959. He won both handicap and scratch Team in 1966-1967, while a member of the Arrowhead Liner Team. He was All-Star Champ in 1962 and 1964. Ralph has been a leader, and a pusher, for bowling in Southern Nevada while leading the Nevada State Bowling Association as its President from 1964-1966. Through Ralph's leadership and sponsorship, he created championship teams and helped many top bowlers to improve. During his presidency of the SNBA, he was the first person to put in a Las Vegas bid for the ABC National Tournament. Ralph's contributions to the bowlers of Southern Nevada is still felt today.
