SUSAN NIXON

Susan Nixon began her bowling career as a youth bowler when she was eight years old.  Susan’s mother encouraged her to bowl and her average after that first year was 102.  Susan continued to improve as she grew up and when she joined the adult leagues, some years found her bowling in as many as four leagues per week.  Her husband, two children, nephews, cousins and nieces are all bowlers and Susan and her husband, Carl, have bowled together in many leagues over the years.  While a strong competitor, Susan has always won the respect of her fellow bowlers with her friendly demeanor and winning smile.  Susan and Carl have two children; a son, Robert, now a university student, and daughter Amanda, a high school student.
