Jim was born in Smithfield, MO in May of 1934, and has lived in Las Vegas
over 25 years. He's been a member of ABC for over 26 years and a member of
the SNBA for 24 years. He served over 10 years as a Member of the SNBA
Board of Directors, serving six years as Vice President. He was
Secretary/Treasurer from January, 1975 to July 1976.
Jim served as a Director and as a Vice President in Nevada State Bowling
Association for six years.
He has earned ABC Awards for two 300's, eleven 700's, and one eleven in a
row 290. He has carried a 200 average for over five years, placed third
Scratch All Events in the 1968, SNBA Championship Tournament with an 1814. In league play he held the
area high for four games at 992 and in 1970 the
high series of 744.
He's held all league offices and bowled in more than 50 leagues. He still
has an average in the high 190's, and has participated in the SNBA
Championship Tournament since 1970.
