Inducted 1989 - Superior Performance

Kathy Wodka moved to Las Vegas from Westerly, Rhode Island in 1982.  She brought with her some already impressive credentials bowled in the East.  She has 10 championships from the New London (CT) WBA and was a member of the championship team for the 1979 WIBC Tournament.  She was a member of the WPBA and had her best year in 1979 finishing 10th in the U.S. Open and winning her first pro title in the 1979 WPBA Pabst Extra Lite Southeastern Classic.  She didn't stop after moving to Las Vegas.  In 1987, she was chosen to the very first Team USA and represented the United States in the FIQ World Championships in Helsinki, Finland.  She took home the Gold in both Women's Doubles and the Five Woman Team Event, and a Bronze in the Woman's Trios.  She was a three time winner of the Dusty Springston Invitational and won the LVWBA Scratch Doubles in 1988.  Kathy was awarded the Nevada WBA Gold Medal for her 300 game in 1983, and has consistently averaged over 200 since arriving in Las Vegas.
