GLEN OLSON

As a young boy in high school, he worked as a pin boy. After a two year
stint in the navy, he got involved in bowling seriously; working three years
in the construction of bowling lanes and seven years in a bowling
establishment doing counter work, maintenance, and giving bowling lessons.
He served on the Brunswick Advisory Staff from 1959 to 1962, and was
literally "drafted" to bowled in the NBL. He was captain of the Hamms Beer
Team in Minneapolis, MN, for 16 years and won several league championships
and many national honors, including: ABC 1st Place Team All Events, 1965;
ABC 1st Place Team 1970 and 1972.
During his bowling career, he has bowled a 299 game, shot a 783 high series
and carried a high average of 212.
He has been involved in bowling all of his life and continues his
participation and contributions to the sport. When he moved to Southern
Nevada, he bought Boulder City Lanes, an establishment he still owns and
operates today.
