A member of the ABC and the SNBA for over 25 years, his first average of record in the SNBA was 211 and he has maintained that level of competition throughout his bowling career. In 1965, he rolled a then record four game series of 995 in the Nevada State Tournament. He recorded his first 300 in 1966 and has well over fifty 700 series as of his induction. His highest recorded series was an 806, shot in 1983. In 1994 he averaged 224, and in 1995 he rolled a 299 game and a 793 series.
