ODELL DAVIS (Deceased)
Inducted 1996 - Meritorious Service Born in Garland, Arkansas on September 8, 1938, Odell became a resident of North Las Vegas in 1945. A long time SNBA bowler and ABC member, he bowled in as many as three leagues a week. In 1969 he became a Director on the Southern Nevada Bowling Association Board of Directors. He served as Vice President from 1973 to 1979, and remained active on the Board served as a director until his death in 1992. In addition to Odell's bowling activities, he was always striving to be involved in the community and his contributions were many. He was employed by Reynolds Electric for 25 years, and also served as President of the Aaron Williams Youth Program. One of his greatest joys was working with the youth of the community through organized sports and providing guidance as a basketball and baseball coach and a bowling instructor. Odell was a Deacon of the Mount Calvary Baptist Church until his death.
