BOB HUBBARD  (Deceased)

Inducted: 1999 - Meritorious Service

Bob was one of the unsung champions of the SNBA.   He became a member of the SNBA Board of directors in March of 1984.   In 1987 he became a Vice President and held that position for six years when he was elected Executive Vice President, a position he held for four years.   During his service to the Board, Bob served on many committees but most of his efforts were on the Publicity and Publications Committee, a committee that consumed most of his spare time.  Living in Pahrump, it was not uncommon to see Bob in town,  three, maybe four days a week doing something for the Association and the Publications committee.  He was always drumming up something; looking for another ad, promoting another sponsor, or looking for the best deal to publish the book.  In addition to his duties with the SNBA, Bob also served on the Nevada State Board as a Director and eventually as Vice President.  The last four or five years he was a Delegate to the ABC National Convention.   Bob took his responsibilities to both Associations seriously and never once hesitated to promote the Township of Pahrump.  Through his efforts and dedication he was responsible the state senior's tournament being conducted in their fair City and was constantly working for the good of the sport.
