DAWN BOURGON

 

Inducted 2003 - Superior Performance

A former touring professional with the Professional Women's Bowling Association, Dawn moved from Minnesota and has been collecting awards ever since.  Prior to moving to Las Vegas, she won the Big 10 Collegiate All Events Title and is an 8-time Ladies Central Bowlers Association Champion.  Since moving to Las Vegas, she has won a number of tournaments and, during the 2001-2002 season, she captured the LVWBA high average award with a 218 average, which was the State Record at the time.  Dawn has 2 – 300 games and a high series of 825.  She also came within one pin of becoming the first person to roll a 300 in this millennium.  Despite her near miss, her 299 was the first honor score for an ABC member in 2000.   Dawn is also a member of the Minneapolis Women's Bowling Association Hall of Fame.
