Dan "Boomer Briley" McRoberts was born in Truckee, CA, and has been an ABC member for over 40 years. Dan would commute from Kingman, AZ just to bowl Monday nights in the Sam Boyd Classic Trio at Sam's Town. He has held league office as secretary, vice-president, and president. When the Sante Fe Bowling Center opened in 1991, Boomer founded and organized over 50 leagues for the Center. He has worked at Henderson Bowl, Sam's Town, Gold Coast, and his current position is as Bowling Manager at Boulder Bowl. Dan is a 25 year veteran of the ABC National Championships Tournament and has been a block team contributor to all SNBA and many Nevada State tournaments. He was the first bowler to average 200 at Henderson Bowl during the 1983-84 season. He has been a long-time supporter of the SNBA as evidenced by the number of teams he organizes and enters into the SNBA tournaments each year. Dan has nine 300 games and numerous 700 series, and a high summer average of 232.
