Inducted 2005 - Meritorious Service

Jean Wright has been a diligent worker for bowling in Southern Nevada for many years.  She has been on the LVWBA Board of Directors since 1983, serving on all committees and has held the office of Treasurer from 1987 - 1993, 1st Vice President from 1994 - 2001, and was the final President of the LVWBA from 2001 - 2005.  When the local bowling associations merged in 2005, she became the first Executive Vice President of the SNUSBCA.  Jean has also been active with the Nevada Women's Bowling Association having been a director for over 7 years, Recording Secretary for 1 year, Parliamentarian for 1 year, and its Sergeant at Arms for 2 years.  She was a delegate to the WIBC Convention for 10 years.  She was the President of the TNBA Las Vegas Senate from 1976 - 1986, a league secretary for 4 years, a league president for 2 years, and was the Nevada Senior Olympics Tournament Chairperson for 3 years.  Jean was also the President of the Nevada State 600 Club for 9 years, and President of the local 600 Club for 4 years.  Finally, Jean was honored as the Nevada Women Bowling Writers Director of the Year for 2004.
