David was born in Joliet, IL in 1964 and moved to Las Vegas in 1992.  He started bowling at the age of 6 and was hooked from the start.  As a teenager, he was coached by PBA/ABC Hall of Famer, Jim Stefanich, who taught him the finer points of the game.  In 1981, at the age of 16, he became the youngest bowler  (at the time) to shoot a 300 game in the Joliet (IL) Bowling Association.  He followed that up in 1983 by shooting a then record 1070 series for four games in the Fox Valley (IL) Bowling Association.  He and his family also owned Lockport Lanes, in Lockport, IL in the 1980's.  David joined the PBA in 1984 and has had 5 second place finishes in PBA Regional competition.  He bowled on the PBA National Tour in 1989 & 1990.   He was a charter member of the IBPSIA (International Bowling Pro Shop and Instructors Association) in 1991, and has given numerous seminars at their conventions and trade shows over the years on subjects such as, “Fitting and Drilling a Bowling Ball” and “Advanced Drilling Techniques”.   He ran the Infinity/Champions Bowling Products booth at ABC National Tournament in Tulsa, OK in 1993 and Mobile, AL in 1994, working with nearly 65,000 ABC Tournament bowlers in each of those two years.   As of his induction, he has had 30 - 300 games, 19 - 299 games and 11 - 800 series.  He has carried a book average of over 200 for 22 consecutive years with a 232 average in 2003 as his high.  He has won 3 SNBA Championship Tournament events including the Scratch and Handicap Doubles in 1994, and has had several top 10 finishes in other years.   More recently, he was in the top 20 on the PBA Western Region point list in 2005.
