Rochelle was an active participant in the sport of bowling for many years. In her hometown of Cleveland, OH, she served on their board for many years and represented the Cleveland WBA as a delegate to the WIBC National Convention 14 times. She served on numerous committees and provided leadership in her role as Cleveland WBA President for 7 years. For her service to the Cleveland WBA she was honored as a member of the Cleveland Women's Bowling Association Hall of Fame for Meritorious Service in 1988 and given Life Membership in 1989. Her participation in bowling didn't end after moving to Henderson, NV in 1989. She joined the Henderson Women's Bowling Association and served as Secretary for 11 years and then their President for 1 year. As a member of the HWBA she was the Joint Certification Coordinator working with the Southern Nevada Bowling Association to perform lane certifications on the houses under the jurisdiction of the Henderson WBA. On the state level, Rochelle represented the Nevada WBA as a delegate to the WIBC Annual Meeting for 3 years. Her leadership skills were again put into use as NV WBA Secretary for 10 years and NV WBA President for 2 years. The NV WBA presented Rochelle with Life Membership in 2003 and a 10 Year Service Award in 2004.
