2007 Clark County High School MVP Bowling Tournament February 15, 2007 The Orleans Bowling Center Las Vegas, Nevada
One hundred and nineteen (119) high schools bowlers were entered in the MVP Tournament and they represented all thirty one (31) high schools in Clark County. This is a USBC certified tournament # 3287. Scholarships were given out to top five boys and five girls totally $3,100.00. The sponsors this year were: Bobbi’s Railroaded Express League, The Orleans & Gold Coast Bowling Centers, United Brotherhood of Carpenters #1977, K & K Bowling Services, Custom Souvenir & Novelty, Inc. and Southern Nevada USBC Association Youth Group. Action Trophy’s donated the plaques & Ten Pin Alley for their support. A special thank you to all of the above sponsors for their financial support. All scholarship money earned is held in trust with the SMART Program at the United States Bowling Congress (USBC) in Greendale, Wisconsin. Scholarship winners receive a letter from the SMART Program. Congratulations to all the participants who represented their high school in the 2007 MVP Tournament. This is a scratch tournament with a four (4) game qualifying round, and then the top five (5) boys and girls bowl a step-ladder final round to determine the winner. All finalists win a plaque and scholarship (amount is determined by placement in the finals).
